CPS Energy’s offices, customer service centers, and the call center will be closed on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 and Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in observance of New Years. Alternative Residential Meter Sockets
CPS Energy is responding to global supply chain issues with temporary exceptions to our Standard Residential Meter Socket Specifications to make it easier for customers to purchase meter sockets from local suppliers.
The table below lists temporarily acceptable meter cans by application, manufacturer and catalog number.

The temporary exception to CPS Energy’s Standard Codes for meter sockets may be lifted for new meter socket purchases at any time. The approved manufacturer and catalog list may change at any time. Please check the website frequently to stay apprised of changes as we monitor and respond to global supply chain issues.
